About Corner Canyon Health Centers
Corner Canyon Health Centers is a 15 bed, inpatient mental health and addiction treatment center, providing evidence-based and compassion driven treatment for adult clients in a comfortable, healthy home environment with caring, well trained personnel. Corner Canyon uses the most current, research-validated assessment and therapeutic treatment methods including: Neurofeedback, DNA testing, Biomarker Testing, Trauma Treatments including the SGB shot for rapid reduction of PTSD symptoms, EMDR and Brainspotting, CPT, and many other more typical modalities.The most important part of this setting is our personnel, our people are compassionate, warm, fun, engaging, and receive ongoing training and support to ensure that their skills and abilities are maximized. They enjoy and trust each other as well, which helps create a cohesive, comfortable emotional environment.
The Corner Canyon Health Centers nurse is a professional who manages and directs nursing care of clients with mental health diagnosis such as: substance use disorders, co-occurring diagnoses, post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety and others, as well as medical conditions. The nurse uses skills of assessment, planning, documenting and evaluating treatment of clients alongside the multidisciplinary team of providers. The RN will provide cross coverage between both the inpatient residential and outpatient facility. The RN is responsible for providing a safe and therapeutic environment. The RN will collaborate with the medical, psychiatric and residential staff to ensure all medical needs are addressed for clients, and act as a liaison to the clients' families and loved ones.
-Completes assessment and plan of care on assigned clients and provides individualized nursing care
-Conducts ongoing reassessments to evaluate change of clients’ status
-Monitors recovery process and related medical, physical, and psychological problems and other interventions defined by facility policy
-Promotes and provides health care teaching to clients, includes family members when feasible and appropriate in client treatment
-Demonstrates ability to manage the daily routine operations related to client care in the facility in an appropriate and timely manner
-Seeks to continuously improve work processes and offer suggestions for the improvement of client care
-Is proactive in identifying potential crisis situations and responds appropriately in emergency situations
-Acts as a preceptor/mentor to newer staff and/or students
-Administers medications as assigned; serves as a resource person for knowledge of medication uses, side effects, and dosage; checks for proper medication order; documents medications according to policy. -Assists medical and psychiatric providers by calling in refills and adjusting medical changes on the EMR database in a timely manner.
-Attends weekly clinical and treatment team meetings, as well as scheduled staff training.
-Communicates regularly and effectively with medical and psychiatric providers as well as the rest of the Corner Canyon team.
RN License in good standing
Must have a valid, unrestricted, state-appropriate driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance.
Satisfactory criminal background check and acceptable motor vehicle record

On-call duties to be shared with the medical director.
$39.00-$42.00/hr variable based on education and experience
Full time benefits are available after 30 days of employment
401K available after 6 months of employment for both full/part time employees
