COMPREHENSIVE AND INNOVATIVE ASSESSMENT

Initial Assessment & Evaluation

Corner Canyon takes a comprehensive and collaborative approach to treating our clients’ mental and physical health. The first step after admission is a thorough evaluation process that provides our treatment team specialists with a complete understanding of the client’s situation. This allows us to intervene where necessary and help our clients achieve full mental and physical health. The assessment process, which usually occurs within the first few days of enrollment, includes a psychiatric evaluation, medical examination, clinical evaluation, full blood workup, and DNA tests if needed. After the client has had time to adjust and settle in, a standard psychological evaluation is completed if they don’t have a current one. More extensive psychological testing can be requested if necessary, and more specialized psychological testing can be arranged as well. These assessments enable our treatment team to develop a unique and specialized treatment plan that addresses all of the client’s needs. If you’re seeking treatment, we encourage you to contact us and begin your journey to recovery today.
