Our Approach

Our Clinical Approach to Mental Health Treatment

At Corner Canyon Health Centers, our highly skilled clinicians utilize a wide range of empirically researched treatment modalities to address our clients’ mental health concerns. Our comprehensive assessment process is designed to identify the underlying causes of the client’s condition, providing a solid foundation for the development of an individualized treatment plan. This may include evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression, attachment therapy for core wounds pertaining to abandonment, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) for borderline personality disorder, and EMDR or Accelerated Resolution therapy for complex trauma and PTSD. We recognize that every client is unique and may require a personalized approach to treatment. Our clinicians take a holistic approach, addressing all aspects of mind, body, and spirit, while creating a safe and supportive environment. Our tailored treatment plans may include experiential therapies such as equine therapy, recreational therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. We also focus on developing coping skills and addressing any co-occurring disorders, ensuring our clients have the tools necessary to achieve long-lasting positive change.

Trauma focused treatment

Trauma-focused treatment is a specialized approach that targets trauma-related symptoms resulting from past traumatic experiences. At Corner Canyon Health Centers, we recognize the impact that trauma can have on an individual’s mental and emotional wellbeing, and our skilled clinicians are equipped with evidence-based tools and techniques to address these issues. Our trauma-focused treatment options may include individual therapy, group therapy, or a combination of both, with the utilization of empirically validated therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) or Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). We also offer complementary interventions such as mindfulness practices, music therapy, and other experiential therapies to promote relaxation, self-expression, and emotional regulation. Our safe and supportive environment allows individuals to explore and process their trauma in a compassionate and non-judgmental setting, tailored to meet their unique needs.

GETTING THE HELP YOU NEED AT CORNER CANYON

We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.

We are a private pay program, and are out of network with most insurance companies. We have success securing single case agreements with many companies, however, the rate of payment on those varies with the insurance company and we cannot guarantee what they might pay. We will run a Verification of Benefits (VOB) when we receive your insurance information so you have a general idea of what your insurance policy may reimburse, however, that is an estimate based on what all people insured by your company have received from your insurance, not a guarantee of what they will pay in your case.

On average, Corner Canyon’s clients receive a portion of insurance reimbursement 85-90% of the time, but the amount varies from minimal repayment to full reimbursement. We have a team of insurance advocates who are invested in helping families secure as much reimbursement as possible.
