What Is A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)?

A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a highly structured day program designed for individuals recovering from mental health and substance abuse challenges who require intensive therapeutic services but do not require 24/7 inpatient residential care.

This evidence-based treatment program includes individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, and psychoeducation. PHPs are typically used as a step-down for individuals who have been discharged from an inpatient psychiatric hospitalization or residential treatment program, yet still require intensive support to maintain stability.

At Corner Canyon, our PHP is designed to provide patients with the support, skills, and strategies they need to manage their mental health conditions and improve their overall quality of life.

Who Qualifies for PHP Treatment?

PHP is an ideal option for those exiting inpatient care and need daily, structured support as they transition home. It can also serve as a step-up for those who require more structured care than typical outpatient therapy. PHP may be an ideal option for you if:
