Inpatient Alcohol Rehab
Drug and alcohol abuse is a widespread issue with complicated causes and consequences. No two addictions are exactly alike, and Corner Canyon’s specialists approach treatment plans accordingly. Our inpatient addiction treatment center offers drug and alcohol treatment, as well as therapeutic intervention for any secondary or co-occurring disorders which may be present. Research indicates that concurrent treatment of both improves outcomes. We take pride in our effectiveness, confidentiality, and expert and caring staff. We would love to answer your questions and get you and your family back to health and happiness.
Casual drinking can often cross the line into alcohol abuse. When alcohol begins interfering with important relationships, your career, or personal safety, it may be time to seek help. Warning signs of alcohol addiction may include building a tolerance to alcohol, loss of control over how much is consumed, continuing to drink even after it causes serious issues, and withdrawal symptoms between drinks. You do not need to suffer through these symptoms alone. Our inpatient alcohol rehab center can help those struggling with alcohol abuse begin their road to recovery.

Inpatient Drug Rehab
Substance abuse is a complex issue which spans across many different substances, symptoms, behaviors, and recovery plans. Signs of dependence often include building a tolerance to the substance, a decline in physical and mental health, uncharacteristic or irrational mood swings, job or legal difficulties, and loss of interest in activities and relationships. Addiction affects more than just the user; friends, family, and coworkers are often hurt by the user’s substance abuse as well. Our inpatient drug rehab in Utah helps clients break their cycle of addiction by recognizing these harmful behaviors and replacing them with empowering and uplifting actions.

Signs of Dependence & Withdrawal
The distinction between physical dependence and psychological dependence is important to understand. As the National Institute on Drug Abuse explains, “physical dependence is a component of addiction, but it is not synonymous with addiction.” In other words, a person can be physically dependent on alcohol or another drug of abuse without being psychologically dependent on it”. Our addiction recovery specialists will conduct a thorough psychiatric evaluation before and then upon admission, and may or may not use medications to manage withdrawal symptoms, or refer the client to a medical or social detox setting prior to engaging in treatment.
Listed below are common symptoms of alcohol dependence and withdrawal. More serious symptoms range from hallucinations about 12 to 24 hours after the last drink to seizures within the first 2 days. Delirium Tremens (DTs) are very serious symptoms that may start 48-72 hours after quitting. These are severe symptoms which must be treated medically, however only about 5-7% of people in alcohol withdrawal experience these. They may include vivid hallucinations and delusions
